The 1989 Team Associated Stealth Car prototype revolutionized the RC10 platform, crafted specifically for elite competition at the IFMAR World Championships in Sydney. Developed in secret, it introduced groundbreaking features like the Stealth transmission—a compact three-gear system with an internal slipper clutch—delivering smoother power transfer and a lower center of gravity compared to the original six-gear design. Its lightweight, narrowed aluminum chassis enhanced agility, while updated front geometry and extended rear suspension arms boosted steering precision and traction. Built with carbon fiber and titanium, this sleek, low-profile buggy set new standards in speed, balance, and durability, shaping the future of competitive RC racing.
