The result: sounds of “sambas and archangels / street and street riot,” sometimes hypnotic, sometimes dissonant and always a beautiful amalgamation of unusual noises, hysterical lyrics, and pop songs that remain an essential part of the Brazilian historical legacy of musical exploration.
