Most of the record was recorded in one take at Yung Lean/YEAR0001’s studio and at Riksmixningsverket, a renowned studio owned by Benny Andersson of ABBA in Stockholm. The production was expertly handled by longtime collaborator Pelle Gunnerfeldt (known for work with Viagra Boys, Yung Lean, Elvira) alongside Mike D of the Beastie Boys, who traveled specifically to Sweden to co-produce and hosted sessions at his Malibu studio. Additionally, Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age provided consultation, adding a unique edge to the project.
