The Legacy of Cthulhu: Before the End - A Prelude to The Legacy of Cthulhu (ONLINE ORDER ONLY)

In a future closer than we imagine, humanity is lost amid conflicts, wars, and diseases in the ceaseless quest for power, bringing disgrace to the whole world. In the end, when it seemed that things could not get any worse, those who had always been waiting revealed themselves in jubilation: Dark Priests and Cultists, scattered all over the world, brought back the Great Old Ones, who completely devastated civilization as we know it.

But what happened before the disaster? What facts led the world to this tragedy? Would it be possible to prevent (or at least remedy) such a disgrace?

In the module Before the End, we will have these answers! Each player will play an ordinary person, living their life quietly (or not so much) and who, somehow, came into contact with the secret movement of Dark Priests, Cultists, and horrors that seek to bring the Great Old Ones back.

This module works as a toolbox to adapt the core mechanics from The Legacy of Cthulhu to pre-apocalypse settings. You will find usage for currency, housing, enemies, modifiers for specific rules, and a unique set of tiles (including warzone and expedition tiles) that allow deeper customization to the game, even allowing you to adapt the setting to other historical moments – imagine fighting Cthulhu in the old west, cold war or inside a space station!
