Greg chuckled, but his voice was so low that it sounded like a growl. “That’s not why I’m being quiet, Ella.”
“Then why are you?”
“Because”—he hooked his hands under her knees, dragging her to him until he was seated directly in between her thighs, making her gasp—“it’s taking every bit of my control to not rip off your clothes and bury myself so deep inside you that you won’t know where you end and I begin.”
She moaned at the thought. Greg’s skin was warm and firm under her palms, and she could imagine how it would feel to have him moving within her, on top of her, below her, consuming her, making her his. She wanted to be his.
Greg gripped her thighs and his hands slid to her hips as he pulled her until there was no space left between them. His eyes turned the molten amber, like that of a raging fire, and his erection rubbed against her, seeking what she was so desperate to give.
She bit her lip and whispered, “Then do it.”
