Edited by geologists Jon L. Rau and Louis F. Dellwig and published by the Northern Ohio Geological Society in 1970, this substantial first-edition set contains nearly 1,000 pages of technical research spanning the rapidly developing fields of evaporite geology and underground engineering.

Volume One covers stratigraphy and sedimentation, geochemistry, tectonics, solution mining, and underground storage and disposal.
