After the success of their second album and following their collaboration with former OutKast rapper Big Boi under the name Big Grams, the duo of Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter return with their third album, Three. They were so happy with the collaborative approach of Big Grams that for the first time they brought in outside musicians to work with them on the synth pop-meets-hip-hop sound. Helping the duo achieve their sound this time out are Darby Cici of the Antlers, superstar session drummer Matt Chamberlain, Dan Wilson of Semisonic fame, and Ricky Reed (aka Wallpaper.).
