Under Hollow Hills - Roleplaying Game (Online Order Only)

The second of the Saikoro Fiction line of Japanese tabletop role-playing games, written by Touichirou Kawashima with art by Shie Nanahara and Nagomi Ochiai.

In Shinobigami, each player creates a powerful ninja from separate feuding clans. The GM assigns each character a Mission to fulfill as well as a Secret to hide. Missions may be at cross-purposes and Secrets may give a character a hidden objective or plot twist. Each character also starts play with an Ohgi, or Ultimate Skill.

During play each player takes turns creating dramatic scenes, forging Emotional Bonds and uncovering Secrets while pursuing their goals. At the end of the session, a climactic battle helps determine the fate of each character. Afterwards, each player receives experience points determined by several factors, including how closely they role-played their Emotional Bonds, and whether or not they achieved their Missions.

Each game takes approximately 4 hours. Characters may switch skills and abilities between games, but enough experience gives them more options and power. Each session acts like an episode or movie in a series and allows for tense and dramatic stories only possible with Shinobigami.
