The debut studio album from American heavy metal band Twisted Sister, 'Under the Blade', was released in 1982 by Secret Records. Produced by Pete Way, it initially showcased an aggressive, hard-hitting sound. However, a later re-release by Atlantic Records in 1985 featured a remixed version, ignoring the original's raw power. This re-release also included a remixed version of the band's 1979 single, 'I'll Never Grow Up, Now!'. Although Secret Records folded, bootlegs of the original mix circulated. In 2016, Eagle Records digitally remastered and re-released 'Under the Blade', restoring the original mix, which was later made available through streaming services by Rhino Entertainment.
