They call me the Queen of the Dead.
But I remember nothing.I woke in a palace of obsidian, chained by shadows and haunted by a man who swears he’s my husband. Hades.
God of the Underworld. King of secrets.
He tells me I was once feared. Powerful. His equal.
He says I loved him so fiercely I made the dead tremble. But how can I believe a word of it, when I only remember pain?
“You killed my husband and kidnapped me,” I tell him.
“I will never love you.”And yet… the way he looks at me.
The way he aches for me.
The way my body remembers things my mind cannot. As I begin to unravel the curse that stole my memories, I uncover a past full of fire, fury, and an immortal love that defied even the gods. But the deeper I dig, the more I realize—this isn’t just about me.
Because someone doesn’t want me to remember.
And if Hades and I can’t break the curse in time… the Underworld—and everything we were—will burn.⚓️ Dark, seductive Hades & Persephone retelling
⚓️ Amnesia trope, forbidden love, and ancient curses
⚓️ Power couple energy with enemies-to-lovers heat
