Pittsburgh's Eviction tore onto the late-'80s underground scene like a Molotov cocktail - fast, defiant, and unapologetically loud. Their 1990 debut The World Is Hours Away captured the raw collision of thrash precision and punk rebellion, creating one of the most underrated crossover records of it's time. This 2026 Brutal Planet Records Metal Icon Series edition gives the album the deluxe treatment it deserves. Remastered by Rob Colwell, it hits harder and cleaner than ever, while the 16-page booklet dives deep into the band's history - packed with stories, photos, flyers, and the gritty spirit that fueled Pittsburgh's scene.Best of all, this expanded edition includes the entire 1993 Think Tank demo as bonus tracks - six rare cuts that show Eviction evolving their sound while holding tight to their hardcore roots. With songs like "Listen," "Drunken State," "Marching Off to War," and "American Way," Eviction proved they could hang with any of the era's heavy hitters. For those who crave that perfect mix of speed, grit, and attitude - where Suicidal Tendencies, D.R.I., and C.O.C. collide - this is a must-have resurrection of a crossover classic.
